New SensorTag 2 from TI, description and close up photos.

New SensorTag 2 from TI is really great Bluetooth 4LE Devkit boasting  10 Sensors and low power MCU

Today I got new toy from TI, it is CC2650STK SensorTag2 DevKit from Texas Instrument.

I was looking long for a device whcih is BLE4 powered and has sensors on it, I was playing with some chinese made SensorTag 1 clones, which were really lacking any documentation. And when I saw new DevKit from TI i was really happy to order 2 of them!

Here what SensorTag 2 is:

    First really good blog !
    I have a few questions about the sensor tag CC2650STK and how to use it 🙂

    Is it possible to get the sensor’s data and treat those data by creating our own Android application and not by using the default app ?

      Thank you for nice words, yes it is totally possible because Sensortag2 sends data via standard Bluetooth 4LE profiles. so you can use them in your application and do whatever you want with the data.
