I think you’re the only person I’ve seen do any work on the Hitachi D-E7 on the internet, never have I been able to find any more information on this unit after I inherited one from a friend a few years back.
So I gotta ask, which belts did you use to fix playback? My unit has the same issues, and I haven’t gotten around to sizing the belts properly
