Conclusion
My opinion that Crucial MX300 525GB SSD is decent performer and especially if purchased on sale can be good upgrade for laptop. Even if you upgrade from older / smaller SSD it will be good improvement in performance. Clearly recommended choice. Performance is very comparable to Samsung SSD – http://mobilemodding.info/2017/07/samsung-ssd-850-evo-3d-v-nand-500gb-sata3-benchmark/ but Samsung is a bit faster overall.
