I think you’re the only person I’ve seen do any work on the Hitachi D-E7 on the internet, never have I been able to find any more information on this unit after I inherited one from a friend a few years back.

So I gotta ask, which belts did you use to fix playback? My unit has the same issues, and I haven’t gotten around to sizing the belts properly

    Thanks

Hi Fabian, let me check, but I though I did state this in one of my videos.
Can you check the video please?

I haven’t checked in, in a long time, but got around to rewatching your videos and unfortunately, there is no exact dimensions given in your video. The first troubleshooting video, you have a rough idea of the belts you need and end the video saying you’ll be going to the store to get the right sizes, but then there’s no follow up video.

Any chance you remember what the sizes were for the 3 belts?
